Kate Phillips To All Instructors



Kate Phillips has been teaching homeschool classes and enrichment activities for 20 years. She earned a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University -- in English, philosophy and music. She then earned a doctorate level degree from The University of Michigan. Her work experience includes local newspaper reporter and attorney. 

Mrs. Phillips is a homeschool mom of six sweet kids, ages eight to twenty-five. She enjoys writing plays, composing music and working in theater. She tries to connect with students and foster social experiences and friendships in her classes. Mrs. Phillips loves to challenge academically gifted students and she has a heart for students dealing with mental illness and special needs.
