In Lap-Booking Through the American History Timeline class, we dive into history using our scissors and glue.
We started off this year learning about George Washington and the Revolutionary War. We read and discussed and then created cool lap-books to reinforce learning.
Next, we discussed the election process, the privilege of voting and the roles of the three branches of government.
Along the way we were learning about each state in our country and when a state joined the union.
Next semester we will learn about the thirteen colonies and the Oregon Trail.
