Join us for a night of encouragement, practical advice, teaching tips, and lots of laughter. Mike and Shelly McMahon will be hosting our meeting on Monday, March 13th. They have homeschooled all 7 of their kids over a period of 25 years and have much to share with you as parents about homeschooling as a lifestyle, marriage, parenting, and relationship with your kids.
Homeschooling is a huge commitment and the decision to do so should not be taken lightly. Taking the primary responsibility for your children’s education is huge and requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong support network. While the homeschool experience will be different for every family, there are specific things that you can do to create a great learning environment and resources available that can help enhance your efforts. Embrace the opportunity to make learning fun and instill in your children a true love for learning.
This meeting is for anyone desiring to homeschool or who is already in the midst of it. No one should do it alone, we need each other.

It was so good to hear that we are all in this journey in arms but all in different situations. It’s great to hear what others are doing in their schools and homes. I enjoyed hearing what other age groups are doing because one day my kids will be older and I’ll have this knowledge.
Make a date night and plan to have dessert and snacks with us.
