“Not Back to School” Picnic Extravaganza

9:00 am – Book Sellers may begin setting up for the Used Trunk Sale in the parking lot

10:00 am – 1:00 pm – Used Book Trunk Sale

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Fun Games and Activities

10:30 am – Homeschool Connections Info Meeting and Orientation

Description:

Our Annual “Not Back to School” is back! This year will be extra special as we will be celebrating our 20th year as Homeschool Connections. This event is open to ALL homeschoolers! Bring a picnic lunch and participate in our Used Book Sale, games, and activities. This is THE event of the season and we cannot wait to see you there!

Dayspring Ministries International will be presenting on the topic of human trafficking and how to protect children from predators. In addition, children will have the chance to win tickets at the games which will then be entered into drawings for big prizes! Additional tickets may be purchased for raffles. All ticket proceeds will go to Dayspring Ministries International to fight against human trafficking.

All parking lots, sidewalks, and drives in Borden Park are being renovated this year. Currently, the Hamlin Road entrance to Borden is closed. But you can still access the park from the John R Road entrance.

Visitors with disabilities can sign up for golf cart transportation by calling 24 hours ahead of time (no later than Friday by noon) at 248-656-4797.
